SENIOR LAND AGENT

Working in a team environment, you will facilitate the acquisition of surface leases and right-of-way agreements and other related documents on behalf of clients of Roy Northern; actively assist in the public notification process and ensure a continuity of information regarding acquisitions.  You will have graduated from an accredited land agent program and/or have related experience; possess an appreciation of the agricultural community; have effective negotiation and communication skills along with good organizational and time management skills.

FOREST PROFESSIONAL

Working both independently and in a team environment, you will have the ability to conduct a timber cruise, have a working knowledge of BC forest regulations, prepare and submit Interior Stumpage Rate Request Forms, work with a GIS system to be able to submit digital shape files into the government database via electronic submission format, and the ability to complete Occupant License to Cut applications.  You will have graduated from an accredited Forestry program and have a minimum of two years related experience; possess a valid driver’s license, Standard First Aid and CPR, ATV Safety training and H2S Awareness, as well as snowmobile experience.  You must be registered with the ABCFP as either an FIT or RFT.  This position will involve long hours in the field during all seasons.  As well the position involves Forest, Soils and Stream assessments.

PROJECT LAND COORDINATOR

As a Project Land Coordinator, you will become part of a team that is responsible for project management, including coordinating and reporting to our clients; all activities related to the acquisition process of surface land projects in northern Alberta or northeastern BC.  Along with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, industry, other stakeholders and Roy Northern staff, the successful candidate will have the ability to manage projects on crown and freehold land.  Qualifications include a demonstrated record of successful administration and project management, along with strong computer application skills.  Roy Northern offers mentoring through experienced staff to provide the ideal backdrop to enhance your skills and training.  Your background may include oilfield, forestry, municipal/government administration or small business management.  Excellent administrative, interpersonal and organizational skills are critical to this position.
