General Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Graduate Degree in Archaeology or Anthropology
  • 1+ years of field experience in archaeology preferred
  • Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office
  • First Aid and H2S Safety tickets preferred
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Canadian Citizen or Permanent Residency

  • Willingness to assist in other aspects of Roy Northern services


  • Help set up and prepare for archaeological assessments for forestry, mine, oil and gas facility and pipeline projects
  • Execute archaeological field programs as per the direction of project Field Directors
  • Upload and properly file field data
  • Assist with sections of technical reports
  • Gain and maintain an understanding of applicable BC heritage regulations, guidelines and associated industry practices
  • Document and keep records in accordance with Roy Northern’s Quality Management Plan
